APPLE LETICIA ARYA: Leader of MPK JHS GIS 2
MPK or Majelis Perwakilan Kelas is the sixth organization in JHS GIS 2 Serpong. MPK was just established this year, so this is the first time it is being included in the inauguration ceremony. I’m so grateful to be part of this organization’s journey and to serve as its leader. Together with my teammates, we are helping to build this organization from the ground up.
At first, I didn’t expect to be chosen as the leader of MPK, especially because I’m a 7th grader and all the other organization heads are my seniors. When I was chosen, it came as a huge surprise. I felt proud but also a bit scared and doubtful of myself. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be as good as the others, especially my seniors, because they have much more experience than I do. I was also nervous to ask them questions at first since I was the only junior in the room and didn’t want to be criticized for asking too much. But I was wrong, my seniors were very kind to me. They were always ready to lend a helping hand when I needed it and happily answered my questions. Sometimes, they even asked questions too!
This made me realize that we are all still learning how to become better leaders not just me. All of us are finding ways to improve ourselves and shape our characters. I’m so grateful to have them, my teammates, and also the teachers who have guided me through this journey.

MPK is an organization where we sharpen our skills in leadership, teamwork, fairness, and communication, all of which serve as important foundations for becoming future leaders, as stated in our vision and mission. These qualities are essential because they shape a good leader.
The inauguration ceremony is an event where we officially welcome new organization members. The ceremony includes many parts, such as the opening, each organization’s entrance, oath-taking, prayer, and more, but the main event is, of course, the inauguration itself. We prepared and practiced for this ceremony for a month to make sure everything went smoothly. Each organization practiced its entrance, individual performances, and the combined performance. The 2025 inauguration ceremony went very well, showing that all our hard work and meetings truly paid off. This experience helped me strengthen my perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

The whole process from practice to the ceremony had its ups and downs, but each experience carried its own lesson and value. That’s what made the whole journey so memorable for all of us. I will never forget this moment, because it marks the starting line of a new journey that we are all going through together
