Danastri Milka Husna: Leader Of Dewan Galang

Becoming part of the Dewan Penggalang is more than just joining an organization, it’s a journey to grow, lead, and inspire. In Scout Council, we don’t just learn about discipline and teamwork, we live it every single day. We learn how to work together, solve problems, and support each other like a family.

When I was chosen as the President of the Dewan Penggalang, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Leading an organization isn’t always easy, sometimes it means having to be a good example, leading friends, having long discussions, and having difficult decisions. But every challenge taught me something valuable: real leadership starts with responsibility, patience, and heart.

Our Inauguration Day on October 30th, 2025 was one of the most unforgettable moments for all of us!. Weeks of preparation, meetings, always come home late, always practice even though sometimes we are tired, and practice finally paid off. The morning of the event was full of mixed feelings, nervous faces, bright smiles, heart beating fast, and a strong sense of pride. When the ceremony began, I could feel the unity and spirit of our team shining through.

After the official handover ceremony, laughter and cheers filled the air. Everyone took pictures together, congratulated one another, and celebrated our new beginning as leaders. It wasn’t just a formal event, it was a symbol of growth, friendship, and new responsibilities.

The inauguration reminded me that being a Dewan Penggalang means it's not just wearing a scout uniform. It means being an example, taking initiative, and leading with kindness. I’m proud of my fellow Scouts who worked so hard and showed great dedication. Together, we’ve proven that teamwork and sincerity can turn hard work into happiness.

This is not the end, it’s the start of a new chapter for us.

With courage, unity, and the Scout spirit, we’re ready to lead and make a difference.
